Happy belated birthdays to ole and Sean !!!

That looks like a very comfy chair bogieb . especially for that price point. I too prefer padded armrests. I should start using the standing option at my desk. Hit a preset button and it raises to standing, another goes back to sitting. I get up and walk around to areas of the company so I'm not sitting all day. There's always something that needs to be checked on.

Yes, that happens. Many times there's been donut finds when I wasn't even aware they were there.

That's one way to make my day a whole lot better!

Animal chores this morning. Showing my wife how to operate the RTV. Get her use to it while she finished cleaning stalls and we went and dumped the wagon full of horse manure/hay/chicken poo. Then we went to tractor supply to pick up some animal food and a new heavy duty push broom. We seem to have lost our good push broom we had at least six months ago. Thought it would turn up, but no such luck. I would bet it will turn up now that I bought a new one. LOL The temperatures went from mild and a little rain to cold and wind and snow in less than four hours. Rest of the day will be a mix of organizing the barn and my workshop out there better, breaking every once and a while to come in and stand around wood boiler to get warmed up! Then organizing the bench in the attached garage. Heated to 45 in there. Down to 20 and a nasty cold breeze out there. At least in the barn I’m out of the wind.

Similar here, I trained our cat not scratch the furniture near where I sit, but I failed training husband and kid to do the same when he scratches on the furniture they sit on across the room. I give up, their chair/stools are shredded and they spent more time reacting like I was a nag instead of just telling the cat to stop. Not playing the nag role, they can sit in their shredded chairs til they step up training our family pet. No new furniture til then.

Working on the splitter lift table project today.

Why does it seem that every project has to get nearly every tool out ? <laughing>

And this is my idea. Working on the copyright/patent now..

My Woodchuck heater has an auxiliary draft induction blower for those restarts from coals..

    Two tips.
Use the turtle mode. Not the Rabbit!
And make sure the stove doors are ALL closed tight before engaging. (Don’t ask me how I know)

Well, I did get some organizing done in the barn. And took care of a few other odds and ends. Cleaned one bay out completely for the RTV. Fits nicely.

Will be even better with the plow off and leave that covered up outside after the snow season is done. Getting colder by the minute though. So it was time to come in and get a little workout done in the basement. Then get ready to go to my Mother’s house for dinner. She says hamburgers and chips, and homemade blueberry pie with ice cream for dessert!

I got 2 more walls to cut up and probably 3 loads of concrete, but it's a start.

Nope. Honestly I think hauling it to the dump is less work, less time consuming for sure. Might have to try to get a barrel at some point for my brush pile, that would be a lot of work and mess in the car.

My old house skirt. The wood is still mostly sound (unlike the plywood that was covering it) but it's not worth trying to reuse.

I cover the seat with an old towel and the back with a sweater, which seemed to deter the one cat (Spot) that liked to tear up the old chair. I am keeping the old chair just for her and have uncovered the back for her. I have an old wood chair that I keep for Rita - that is her favorite claw post. Rainey only ever uses the cat tree and I've never had any other cats that tried to shred furniture.

It is good stuff but for use only on joints. I use it several times per day especially on my neck and fingers. I used to do my back too but can no longer reach back there.

edit: I get prescription diclofenac (voltaren0
