Not only firewood, free firewood! Or is it? Seeing it was provided by town I pay taxes to.

It’s hard to tell from the last picture but this is the biggest pile I’ve ever had in my tiny little driveway, it’s around 8’ tall. Wife just said, “well that’s something huh”. Guy wanted to bring me another load Friday, unfortunately had to say no. This is going to keep me busy for a while.

You missed out on being overwhelmed twice
I don't blame you for passing on the second load. That's enough chaos in the driveway to deal with at one shot. Nice score nonetheless.

Call him back and let him know that you changed your mind. Make another biggest pile ever in your driveway and invite some local hoarders to process it with you!!!

Do you have room to store it? How about room for another load once it’s processed? I’d call him back and take it if’n you gots room for it. The mess is already made, a little more won’t matter.

I have room for what’s there now which will put me at 2 years ahead. I’ve had 3 years stacked in my yard and it’s just too much to be honest(sad face while handing in my hoarders card). They are taking a ton of trees down for the next few months so if I feel the need I’m sure I can get another load.

That’s exactly what my buddy suggested, said he’ll just keep dropping dumpsters till whole driveway is full. Another thing keeping me from getting more is my shared driveway situation. The neighbor is great but I don’t want to push it too far. He’ll definitely be getting a nice load for his pit!

Let's be honest here...who really needs a yard. More wood stacks = less grass cutting.

One day fellas, one day. Have to get out of town and into a place with a little more room. We’re working on it.

I think that's Siberian elm. I've processed some before.

It definitely splits easier than any other kind of elm I've processed.
