It’s the farmers care that makes the fields bear.

Spiritual power cannot pass through a personality where resentment exists. Hate is a non-conductor of spiritual energy.

He that by the plow would thrive, himself must either hold or drive.

An empty mind will begin filling with negative thought patterns unless you replace those patterns of thinking with creative and uplifting thoughts.

A fat man is no good in war; he can neither fight nor run.

    There’s no flying from fate.

A light spirit can bear a heavy fate.

That resonates with me. A corollary is: "When I do bad, I feel bad. When I do good, I feel good."

I am not religious and am a fairly simple man. I enjoy doing my best to help people. It makes me feel good and brings me peace. As I get older I realize that, for me, this is important. Maybe I'm growing up?

When others are more important than self, great things happen my friend.

Simple is almost always best in my book. Whether it's growing up or growing in faith that's happening to you it sounds like you've found a huge part of what I think we are all here for.

    Have a great day!

There’s many a slip between cup and lip.

No sense striving against the stream.

There are two things a man should not be angry at: what he can help and what he can’t.

As the baker, so the buns; as the father, so the sons. (Usually true but thankfully noy always.)

That is ok. The religious people didn't believe in Jesus' power. They were too busy being religious...

Belief in Jesus and His salvation is what matters.

Although our days on earth are numbered, thanks to God, we can live forever.

This ticket to eternal salvation can be redeemed by each and everyone of us. God loves each of us equally, and we should always strive to duplicate His welcoming love for others.

This is especially important for those we disagree with, for the gift of salvation is available to all...not just all who agree with us.

So what does it mean when a Texas Longhorn sees her shadow?? Is winter over yet or are we in trouble?

Never ask a man for a favor before he has had his lunch.

Love will last; favors will blast.

    Death pays no favorites.

If you fear to suffer you suffer from fear.

If you fear death, you’re already dead.

A slave to fear creates a hell on earth.

People who fear to live are in love with fear.

    Fear springs from ignorance.
