Good morning everyone! These winter days just blend into each other. Thank God for swimming. If I get in the water every day, I feel I've accomplished something.
No water today though, my grandson is coming up. We skipped last weekend because they were sick, but they're past being infectious now. It will be great seeing him again.
Temps look to be milder this week, we'll be back to bare ground in no time.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SPLENDID SONDAY. Our community meal went well, delivered 59 plates, had 9 workers. Fixed 4 spiral sliced hams, 4 gallons green beans, 3 big boxes of mashed taters, 3 big pans of peach cobbler and Sister Schubert rolls.
Got Sunday School and church this morning, then going back to Macon, didn't make it to Sam's Club Friday evening. Then going to look at a possible tree job when we get back.

I did broadcast rock salt. Not the entire driveway. Just at the top where we park the cars and where the door is.

About 5-6 hours later, I was able to scrape and break up the ice, as the brine spread between ice and asphalt. The sunshine helped as well.

It's not a glare ice, but more of an irregular/pebble finish, fortunately.

 

Big plans for the day?

 

I wish he could, but he's a bit young for this model and he's 4 hours away waiting for his baby brother to show up. Figured this would be his "big brother " gift

 

That looks really neat. You will probably have more fun making that than he will using it. Is it plastic components or wood?

 

Morning All. Dark and dreary looking out there. We had sunshine yesterday but I didn't get outside at all. I should have gone for a walk but my knee is really bothering me lately. I probably should really make the effort though as I feel so much better. Lucky Midwinter to be able to go swimming. Our community pool is an outdoor one open only in the summer months.
Bookkeeping today as I have a church board meeting Monday night and we have curling to watch. Last two games of the women's championships. Then it will be Olympic curling to watch.
