Good morning! Currently 30F and flurries started after 5:00 this morning. Hasn't turned into the blizzard they've been talking about for days but they still say we're getting 15"-20". We'll see. Drove the firewood truck to work today. I got a little wood bucked up last night and mounted the bucket on the skid steer so I'll deal with whatever comes. Have a God day!

I hear where a rodent predicts 6 more weeks of winter. If you check a calendar, 6 weeks puts it almost to the first day of spring! Nice prediction for a rodent.

They say his accuracy is 50/50. Probably better than some weather experts lol.

Does that mean you are coming to Dennis GTG?

Good afternoon all. Cloudy and 36*. Might get 1-3" overnight. Tomorrow is when the storm is visiting. 5-8" tomorrow and possibly another 5-8" Thursday night.
That sucks as Chaz has an appt tomorrow afternoon up near Rochester. It's a 3 hour drive.
    Stay safe everybody .

I'm still giving it some thought. It really isn't that far for me. I might be able to convince my lovely bride to stop in for a few hours while we do a short getaway in Michigan. I'd love to meet you and a lot of others as well!

Well.... on the west side of town... A skiff of snow was all we had out there... But when I got back home our skiff this morning turn into I'm guessing a solid 4" of snow. Definitely a lot more than I expected...

    Good morning, folks.

It stayed above freezing all night. 36⁰ and foggy. Light rain today, highs mid-40's. Then the temps crash and a period of freezing rain, overnight. I'm hoping I have no need to go anywhere Friday am.

    Should be a quiet day.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Not bad yesterday. Around 6" and no drifting. 3" forecast for overnight and we got maybe 1/4" by 7:00 and nothing after that. I have already shoved it around. Need to do that before the cold gets here. 16 out there now and not supposed to get higher.

Below zero this am...a little wind too. Breakfast after I take Doug for a walk...looks like I will have a chilly dog when I get back. :)

    Sorry...couldn't resist.

Good morning everyone! The truck with the new washing machine just arrived. My husband's adrenaline has kicked in. He isn't used to service calls, I had to be home for years to handle them while he was at work.
We've got some good snow meltage going on, before the next storm.
Swimming today, as always. Might not make it tomorrow. Sockeye.jpg
    Have a good one.

Morning all. Above freezing this morning. Yesterday we had a short snow storm that didn't stick. Mostly rain in the forecast. Perfect curling watching weather. Midwinter love the fish plaque. that's a big one.
Work again today. I don't know about tomorrow. It is report card mailing day and we usually have three of us to do it. I do have other things to do at home.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning! 17F and snow showers continue. Cleared the driveway last night and this morning with skid steer. We probably have about 9". They were calling for up to 20 by today. That doesn't look very likely. Apparently most of the heavy stuff moved south. It's supposed to stop altogether at 4:45. The office is pretty much empty today but many people can work from home. I'll probably make a path back to the processing center tonight so I can get to the wood if needed. Have a God day!
