NE Texas to New England...possible ice storm mid-week

Good luck to all of you in the storms path, especially the ice area if its freezing rain! We're still cutting trees from the big ice storm we had last February...

 

I’m in the 16.5 range. 46970. I don’t want anybody to get the ice but bring on the snow.

 

Yeah, it looks like it pretty likely you guys are going to get at least a foot...maybe closer to 24" in some places.

I'll see what the YouTube meteorologists have to say later this AM...but I'm guessing we are still on the bubble.

 

We are here for sure...in the last 18 hours I've heard everything from 1/2" of ice and then 12-20" snow on top of it, down to 1/4" rain, a lil sleet, and 5-6" snow.

 

As usual, weather ppl covering their bases.....

 

Looks like may track further south and give me some more snow. Probably in the 12" range here now which is a LOT of snow for us.

We are supposed to get only 2"-4" up here as of our local weather last night. I have a nephew and his fiance flying out Wednesday morning to Florida. Not sure if there are any stops in between.

 

Maybe...I hear they are cancelling flights already...

 

Yep the Dingo is gassed up and ready to rock. I’ll probably have to plow once while it’s snowing and then again after it quits. Should be fun

 

The chithead has been trying to rub it in, for over a month, that he's going to "warm weather" for a week. As if we couldn't do the same if we want. Carma may bite him. Lol.

 

I bet that is a handy piece of equipment. I assume its got tracks.

 

It’s like a motorized Leatherman multitool! Nope just the 4 wheels. The wheels aren’t as hard on yards. No chains even. Not worth the hassle. It’ll push about 8” no problem without chains.

 

Less maintenance with tires too. Ride probably isn't bad with your legs as the "suspension".

 

LOL. I was going through that but with bear chili. Changed it up this last month with black bear lasagna, tacos, sloppy joes, fajitas, and shepherd's pie. Now getting ready to make some bear chili this week again.
