Probably put some persimmon or if I find a few locust pieces kicking around I'll put those on. Going to be a cold night.

The temp is still falling, we're at - 14.3, hopefully it isn't another night like last night.

Kind of wish I had but the $50 price turned me off. Call it a blonde moment. Don't need it anyway.

We almost got winter here this past week. We had some cloud cover. Went biking in the foothills yesterday with a friend. Had a whopping 3/16 inch of snow sitting on the north facing slopes. None down further away from the mountain.

Burning down coals with Basswood. This is the last of the subzero until next Friday and Saturday. That will make either 4 or 5 subzero weekends in a row.

That's about the same total we got here. It was hard to tell, the wind stayed about 35+mph and about 20º during the whole thing. :shiver:

We are at 12º right now at 0600, just threw a big oak split on. :fire: The house stayed a comfy 70ºs most of the night.

    Oak here
    Thermometer says 2.
Have to shovel out after the storm yesterday, dreading that chore with those temperatures. Looks like the wind might be gone so that is a plus.

Was up about 2 and it was still holding at 8/71. It has warmed outside to 15/70 in. Going to load some ash and maple then off to a Men's breakfast at church.
