    Looks like we are going to get high winds and a huge snow drop in this next nor'easter. Wonder how they know all of that for a storm that hasn't formed up yet? Every weather forecast is more ominous than the prior one. This one is going to be worse for the coast, and less in the mountains, but significant everywhere. They keep saying Blizzard. I know what that means. Make sure the batteries are charged up, get out a good book and relax until the whole thing is over.

    See the 28* weather ticker? I did not ask for it, is super annoying since I often use the very right time and date to look at the calendar and it call up a big screen for several seconds before it minimized itself. And it's New York :loco: :crazy:. How do I turn this off?

    Al, it did happen while you were having problems with your eyes. It actually happened right after our GTG last spring so it had to be early May.

    Well thank you Dennis! I've been trying to remove it from my computer via Microsoft Windows. Turns out it's an MSN news ticker from Microsoft Edge, I'll go there and poke around.

    wildwest Right click on the weather sticker. Click on News and interest. Click on Turn Off. Mine disappeared when I did that.

    Same here. One, if I want news I'll go look it up, I don't want it flashed every time I use my calendar or adjust volume, and two, it showed New York weather :rofl: :lol:
