I know my 415 has out cut my 365 special saws in the past in testing. So it sounds like the 665 may just be the 65cc under champ stock for stock. I still think stroke will over take the bigger bore of same cc.

Agree! I think I have a 365 SPecial stock that I could send off for the stock 65cc tests. I'll have to dig around in the saw storage to see if I can find it.

There are NONE in the USA that I know of, perhaps on some dealer's shelf somewhere, but I think you would have to get them from Germany! The 300$ price I quoted earlier is cost not including shipping and duty.

Ouch. It would probably be worth it for someone wanting a strong stock work saw.

Yeah Mike, and I have no experience trying to use a 7900 jug on a Solo. I know it is supposed to fit with a 1.5mm spacer but have never had both jugs side by side to compare port geometry, so it would be a crap shoot!

I have 365 available Tim from a friend. I had rebuilt it and was a good runner. I think he is going to ride with me for the testing.

Pardon me, IMHO leave the 665 in its' box. Not much to be gained, read my quote from AClarke and Mdavlee's comments.
