Hey, it was just a short time ago you could not even move enough to see the window. You are improving! Dwell on that and the fact it won't be long now before you get to see that lovely wife of yours! I am sure that will be a very happy day!

You obviously were smart enough never to leave your beautiful red head alone for a month!!

she’s redone the bathroom off kitchen; redesigned the aerodynamics on the truck; had 4 of my contractors come over and discuss options…

I have a beautiful wife! She’s a little stubborn and quite used to getting her own way!!

point Blank YOU ARE not allowed to open the insulation envelope of the house at 26 degrees below zero:hair::picard::headbang:

    boy I miss her:tears:

Awww, good memories. My maternal grandmother was the opposite, she'd frequently cuss up a blue streak. Do you remember when the laundry pretreat "Shout" came out? The commercial slogan was "Shout it out!" She really liked it and I can't tell you how many times my aunts and I laughed til tears when we'd hear her yelling in the laundry room  :rofl: :rofl:

Is he and your son's Husky buddies? Or do you have to coordinate when the different dogs are out?

Maybe it happened when you were out with eye troubles? So glad to see you back Al!!

Hoping to go to inpatient rehab…. Quarantine is over and get to leave hospital, rehab is 5 minutes from wifes work and allow visitors. Hospital no visitors..

rehab is for trying to convince 4 years of unused muscles to want to wake up

Hooray!! You get to see your girls!!! Well, except Lady. I bet the food will be better too, you must be tired of hospital menu. I'm setting the timer for 60 hours.

Edit, you're "hoping" to go to rehab. Praying it happens.

Lyle, I think many on this forum will be very happy when you leave that hospital. None will be happier than me.

Got some snow flying and north wind blowing today. I've been kinda sick but not really sick for about 2 weeks now but finally feeling like I'm getting some energy back.

The wood fairy dumped 2 triaxle loads of wood...too bad most of it was cottonwood and sycamore. I'll cut some of it tomorrow but will probably let the majority of it go to my FIL/BILs who share a boiler. They can't afford to be picky when they burn 20-25 cord a year...but I can wait for some better stuff.

My son's Husky doesn't get along with Riley. He is the one that killed one of my cats when it slipped out. When I go out with Riley, I go out and speak up. If his Huskey is out, He'll run right up to greet me, or he'll bark if he is out on the upper deck which is where is most often is. Riley will wait for me to give the all clear, then he goes out cautiously. Once he is sure it is safe, he goes about his business. I stay out with him. Today I gave his extra time out because the temp was up to 29F and tomorrow looks like a nor'easter all day with 12-18 in. snow predicted. Not safe to let him run in that because I might loose sight of him. Riley is really a very good dog. The husky is a good dog except he doesn't get along with other animals. When he has his outside time, I'll give him milk bones and pet him. He likes that.[/QUOTE]

I just woke up to the fact that you have been in the hospital. I had to do a search to find out more. Seems bits and pieces in other threads. I don't usually get into a lot of the other threads.
Glad that you are doing better. Sorry that you had Covid. It has been in my family also. Now my granddaughter (lives here upstairs) has tested +. Everyone of my kids family's have had run ins with it. Lucky for us, no one was really sick. Just symptoms and positive test. Cindy and I are staying clear of them for now. Both of us are high risk for multiple reasons. We are vaccinated and boosted but that won't stop getting it. You take care and get well. Hope you get into rehab soon.
