The last weekend of April, Friday and Saturday. If interested, let us know. This is a family affair so wives and children are welcome. A few dogs are okay but if you have a dog that might bite or can't get along with others or dogs that want to bark all the time then please leave them at home. Also because there will be lots and lots and lots of food, you must keep the dogs away from it. We have a camping place and even an overflow area if need be. There usually are several people who find a place to sleep in the house. A sleeping bag works well but some just lay somewhere as they are and either go to sleep or pass out. We need some more volunteers to help with food preparation and getting tables and dishes set out. We will once again be going to a neighbor's Friday morning to cut and split his wood but that usually takes only 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Then we'll do some work here so bring saws if you want and any other tools. We'll start making lists later concerning food and any other thing that is necessary. But remember, work is optional; not required. Having a good time is not optional; it just happens! There will be good food. Most folks bring something for food and bring what drinks you like.
I'm in. Dragging a small camper over. I'll most likely be there sometime Thursday, maybe Wednesday evening if others will be there. I'll have saws. My wife makes some tasty cookies I can bring if wanted / needed. Or something else.
Mid MI. For reference we are 50-55 miles from Lansing and 30-35 miles from Saginaw; sort of in between. Very close to the jct of M-57 and M-52.
I certainly hope so. You and I need to get together more often, we live too close to each other not to!
We'll be making plans on that. This was our first GTG. In the first picture is Mrs TurboDiesel and I think you all remember Judy, who is in the second picture.
