I decided to take advantage of a relatively warm (28f) mid winter day with little snow and frozen ground to restock the basement supply. I usually use a wagon and pull it from the holzhausen into the basement and over to the stove area but decided to try using the tractor this time.

    Load up at the holzhausen.

Drive to the basement walk out and set the loaded tractor bucket down on the equipment dolly.

Roll the bucket over to the stove area and unload. Worked great! Pics are of my first load, I didn’t pile it too high as I wasn’t sure I could detatch the bucket from the tractor without the wood falling out. But it worked fine so subsequent loads were much bigger. Ended up bringing in a couple cords.
