Cutting blocks

Cutting some blocks and getting ready for the 0 temp Tuesday night. Putting this project on hold for a couple of hours to see if I can find a few bugs bunnies for supper

 

I was supposed to take my bosses son squirrel hunting today but we have 6"-8" of fluffy snow and they were not dressed for the occasion try again next weekend.

The misses is use to me looking out the window and then running though with the .22 to try and get a rabbit in the yard

 

Hunting bunnies.
A few days ago we had an inch or two of snow on the ground. Walking out for the mail I notice bunny tracks. Hippity hoppity. Then another yard or so further along there's a patch on the ground where there is no snow, the leaves are all disturbed and there are no more bunny tracks. Mistaken for a Tribble and transported up to Enterprise perhaps ?

How does a squirrel normally dress for snow?

Now I’m seeing visions of squirrels with turtle shells strapped to their feet. damm you.

 

Thank you !! We got 4, put 2 of them plus a roll of bologna and 2 heads of cabbage in the smoker and had a feast lastnight.

 

Now that is one interesting supper!
