-1/67 As soon as it is light enough and the fluffy snow stops, the driveway and sidewalks and decks are gonna get a cleaning!
24/70 just loaded cherry in the Buck. 2-4 inches of new snow today so I went ear!y while it was just flurries and topped off the patio shed. Knee scope surgery tomorrow so want to make sure I have wood close. This week looks cold.
35 this morning... I was hoping for a freeze... to solidify the top soil. Started to get slick and slimy on top yesterday afternoon.
Thanks for the well wishes. I hope to heal quickly so I can hit it pretty good for a few months before the tilling and planting season hits when I can't get in to cut.
Good luck with the surgery Locust Post and a speedy recovery. 20f now and hope for a high in the mid-30's. Maybe get out and try the new splitter today.
-2 out today with only a high of 4, but the sun is shining bright at least. 70 insid with red oak in the OWB
We’re up above freezing again, at 34 degrees. I decided it was time to break up the monotony and burn some red and sugar maple chunks/uglies. I forgot how much I love maple. Next year I’ll be burning a mountain of it
NOAA has us heading down to -14 tonight, the outside temp is 4.4 with the temp up here at 72 and the basement 80 plus.
We are supposed to be in single digits below tonight. I have the stove loaded accordingly. It is 22 above now. Just doesn't seem like we are heading for subzero tonight. I'm hoping the forecast is wrong and the house is toasty in the morning,
Getting a break tonight and tomorrow, burning some ash and maple however rest of the week I'll be burning some red oak and locust. Wife likes toasty in the morning.
