I'm ready for fall too. October to me is the most ideal month of the year and there is a big change in things between the 1st and the 31st. Just this week I've noticed more and more color showing in some of the trees. Lots of yellows and now some of our soft maples are beginning the change to red. Not the whole tree yet; just a limb here and there but this is normal. Sometimes our cherry trees seem to drop all their leaf in early September and that is getting close. This past week has got my hunting blood stirred up so I'm getting out the hunting gear already.
10 4 on hunting bloodSeem like we go in rut a month or so before the deer does Seems like fall goes by so fast though Nothing gooder than a maple in the fall You gun bow and muzzel hunt ?
Griz, I should add that I saw lots and lots and lots of deer today all on our property. Also picked up cards from trail cam. Got a new one yesterday so hung it right above on that was there just to compare. Wow! But what really surprised me was the 25 pictures I got of coyotes! Sadly only 2 small bucks but we don't seem to have much antler around here this year. Maybe one will wander in during the rut though.
Hunting season comming up. I only have a small 1.5 acres. Each year, hunters come down and park in front of my house. They like to cross over to get to the power line that is posted on both side. I have some come by holding their rifles tightly as they goes past my dog who won't stop barking at them. A couple commented that they questioned if they were going to be confronted by the dogs. My dogs don't bite. And they have electric collars on that limit their area. The guy arcross from me wants to cut wood and not have to worry this year so that land is posted. That pushes the hunters all over on me, so, reluctantly, I also am posting my land. Anyone wanting to pass over it will need to get permission. No surprises. There are homes along the outside of this rectangle area, but mine is the only one next to the power line. Most of the other homes are about 1000 ft away on either side of the power line.
Just south Maine aka "the other Maine". I used to love watching American Loggers cause several of them talked normal haha! Was funny they would catch a bit of northern Maine french here and there and none of the swears would be bleeped out. The other day I overheard someone saying they were going to their Memere's house and I about giggled like a little girl.
Go into the edit mode and rotate it. Then rotAte it back, u should be fine. That's the way I've been doing it.
