I emptied my ash bucket today. Broadcast ashes in the woods, with a long handle shovel.

I've heard ashes are good on a snowy or icy road, if you loose traction. Got about 6 gallons in the house now...

Aww, Jill! Must be uncomfortable. I hope they can treat it without surgery.

Good you found a use for them. I add some to compost, but most of mine get taken to the dump. Spreading them on the lawn would be too messy.

Good morning. I hope everyone has a good and warm weekend (at least while inside by the stove and watching some of the games)!

I am heading out this morning to get some fish to fry up for my wife’s father and brother tomorrow.

Snow overnight and now it is in the upper teens. Snow the next two nights is coming.

    Good chilly morning, everyone.

10⁰, at the moment. Clear bright moon causing tree shadows on the bright snow.

A few errands today before heading to a friend's place for a traditional New England Saturday meal - hot dogs(snappy ones), baked beans, and brown bread.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning everyone! It's a cold one, 3°. But, it will be sunny. It'll be nice to soak up sunshine in the car while we're driving to Maine. I wish I could bring Mark a little firewood, but it's against the law.
Latest word I've had on Brandon's dad is "not good". But he's keeping it together and hoping for the best.
I hope you all stay warm this weekend. I'll take a few pics of Mark and his cat. cMxD2zK.jpeg

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. We had freezing rain/sleet last night, some parts of the county north of us had snow. We were blessed, this morning on the way to work, it was a steady 34°, roads were beginning to dry off. Work has been crazy this morning, got off gas curtailment @10:00, then 1 of my units went stupid...this too shall pass.
Remember those less fortunate, especially with the cold, help them if you can...
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Morning All. Freezing this morning with fog that comes and goes. When it clears off, it will be a gorgeous day. Checked on my carrots in the ground yesterday. Surprisingly they are not mush. They looked rather good. We will be having some for dinner tonight.

The Word of God has power over temptations. Jesus used the Word of God in his confrontation with Satan. We, too, have that opportunity to access the power in the Word of God.

"I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against you" Psalm 119:11

    Happy Sabbath everyone.

Good afternoon all. A nice balmy -12 this morning. I think we are up to 10. Should warm up tomorrow.
Have a safe drive Molly. So far haven't talked with my doc. I found out about the hernia when she was off with covid. Not looking forward to drinking the barium. Oh well what can you do.
Glad the roads were drying for ya Jeff.
Tim, I think Ruger needs a new tennis ball.
    Have a good weekend all.

 ... I know he's capable of a bigger stick than that... .... Well I went and picked up a little bit of maple from the Uncles house that I've staged over there. Then went back and played with the Kubota. Got one dead hanger unlodged and will cut up tomorrow. Plan on taking the JD over there tomorrow morning... Got a few trouble trees that he wants removed. :dex:
