I usually post this at the halfway mark but curious where everyones at? I've just hit the 1 cord mark for the winter. *This is not including about a 1/2 cord of uglies in shoulder season*
    Where's your tally at?

I have about 8 cords ready for this winter. I've burned about 1 cord so far.
But I would estimate that one cord has been burned in the past month. The stove has been stuffed full 24 hours a day for the past two weeks and I occasionally have to remove ash and hot coals to make room for more wood.

Started the boiler a week before thanksgiving. Burned roughly 2 1/2 cord I’m guessing. Should burn 3 more by the time to shut it down.

I'm probably around 1 1/2 cords... but a lot of that is silver maple, walnut, hackberry, and elm. I really have touch my oak yet this year. Got Hedge and Honey locust pulling heavy loads this year so far....

4 cord so far. Started burning wood in September. Stove was out for 2weeks for a vacation, other wise it runs 24/7. Not proud of it either . But our old house just doesn't have the insulation like a newer home.

I may have burned a cord of SS wood and about one and a half cord of oak.

depends on species......red oak....2 cord so far for 3,670 HDD's in a not-too-efficient house. I've never burned 5 cord yet since I started keeping track in 2015.

-CLICK HERE- for what it's heating.

Yup, I've seen it already! Been reading alot of testimonials from the lamppa site.

Compared to what you used to burn, how much difference?

The Kuuma is the first real wood burning appliance I have used. We used a conventional fireplace for a couple years to try to take a bite out of the LP bill when home and used a LOT of wood, but that's not apples to apples. LOL

Do you have any past heating bills.....say gallons of LP a year from before heating with wood?

Nope, just bought the place this summer, Before that, I had an OWB. Heated house and domestic water. The only gas appliances we had at that house were the furnace and water heater. So, once the OWB got fired up, the gas didn't get used at all.

The last few winters (more mild than usual) I went through at least 7 cord with the OWB.

I just did a little work on my wood shed last week and noted that I've gone through over 2 cord already. Our unusually severe cold snap after xmas saw a lot of wood go into the stove.
I started burning in September and normally burn about 3.5 cords a year.

I'm at around/about 2.75-3 full cord or so.....in par with an average burning season (5.5 to 6 cord)

Almost two cords here, but some of that was poplar and other shoulder season wood in Oct. and Nov. Elm, oak, red maple, and black locust after that. Starting to get some space on my racks.

We have gone through 4 cord in the house, 2 in the garage, and maybe 1 in the shop, but I burn fat from skinning fur in there also.
