Storm ended mid morning here so i opted to get some splitting done at storage. Less than 2" of snow made for slower going but the crisp air couldnt be beat. Maybe couple face cords of black locust. Birch Also a bit of walnut and red maple. At least a cord overall. May get more done in the next few days.
I'd love to get out and split some wood for an hour or two, but all my rounds are frozen under 6" of ice and corn snow. Hopefully things will thaw out this weekend and I can spend some time outdoors. If I don't get enough exercise, I can't sleep, which is why I've been up since 2am.

Id say it was low 30's when i started after 1. The little puddle next to the splitter had frozen over later in the afternoon. We had rain change over to snow so it was extra sloppy there. 10* here now The BL was ten months old and its unheard of for me to have rounds that long. I ran out of stacking room at storage at the time. I have maybe seven cords to split yet let alone what i have in scrounges up my sleeve.
