I have a Jred 2166 and a husky 261. Both are runners, going to send one to Huskihl and have him go through it. Then later on do the other one. That is when he gets caught up. I cut manly red and white oak. What say you. I like both saws.Time frame between each build could be a while.

You got that right. I had him go through a 55 rancher for my dad that was kinda sentimental and it was just a a freshen up and good cleaning. Boy does it run good now. Can't speak highly enough about Kevin!

    I vote 2166. I'm not A huge fan of rubber anti-vibe.

Not only can he build a badazz saw, but he can cook too!! And I gotta tell ya, he's a top notch man in all aspects of life. Always look forward to hanging out with him at the GTG's.

He's got my Pioneer P62 right now, if it turns out half as amazing as the Echo CS2511-T he built for me, I'll be tickled!!

Id go with whatever you will use more of .

I browse FBM for saws and there was one for sale with his "XS" sticker on it and the seller mentioned him by name. Maybe he should autograph his saws too?

I really like the 2166 and he can turn it into an old school 371 basically, so there's that. The 261 has gobs of grunt and speed and he can crank it up to. The Husky feels lighter.

Will he ever be caught up? Seems like he is headed for the same perma backlog as other infamous saw builders? Is there a slow time of year huskihl? Asking for a friend. Lol

I thought about adding some contact info to my stickers. Figured I’d go against the grain and let it create its own “buzz”.

I thought about going full-time on the saws this past summer but wasn’t sure I could stay busy. So I took on a few construction and concrete jobs just in case. My normal backlog as of a year ago is only 3-6 weeks but this summer I got behind. Came down with the “ick” a few weeks ago so that put me out of commission for a bit

Shipping should be cheaper if you put them both in the same box.

If you do good work, word gets around. Word of mouth is the best advertising. I see other saw builders with their info on their stickers. I thought a caricature of you would be cool!

I’m kinda facing the same dilemma. I’d like to get one ported, but which one first? If’n I do get one done I’m sure it won’t be the last.
The whole, “which one to port” issue is the only good argument I can see for having only one saw.
