Sounds like some more time testing in a pellet stove might be worth the effort. Great potential for by-product. Better than _tupid ethanol. Not real sure where I'd store a rail car load..... Hmmmmm.
I know, and agree. I married a man that uses windex on everything, generously. And a kid that learned. I gave up years ago. BUT, if I could get them on a cool dry sponge like this I could take the door apart and clean out the air wash vents (2nd stove and 2 stove to have clogged vents from windex and soot haze stuff). We'll see if I bother to spend the $$ as my other 1/2 is a windex lover.
Well that is just very cool, resourceful! And yes to other's here I did used to eat a bran cereal that was like little tiny pellets.
I suppose it is different in that the pellet stove has a rather limited amount of fuel compared with the essentially endless supply of a natural gas line. Perhaps I don’t understand what the concern was with starting the stove by phone before anyone was home. I don’t mind coming home and kindling up a fire. The women in my life seem to like it warm upon arrival.
