Nice work, and not easy by any stretch.
Is that oak ready enough to burn this season?

Not a square inch of space available to put more wood in those moving vehicles. That's efficiency right there. Good job!

After the fire alot of people started cutting in the area but now just a few of us.Because of laziness if it isn't close to the road not as easy to see with all the new growth and ferns 3 ' tall they just don't bother looking:loco: .The ones that do cut seem to go after the greener trees for some reason:rofl: :lol:when there are perfect diameter trees laying and the most beautiful gray just begging to be stacked and burned. They just leave em and I grab em and stack em.I have a problem lately if I aint cuttin I'am thinking about cuttin.:saw:

Me too. Pushed myself a little too hard last weekend though; my shoulder and elbow are a little sore from the impact of all the splitting. So, I'm taking a little rest from it and building a sawbuck this weekend. Took some ideas from a couple other ones I've seen and drew up some of my own plans Wednesday night.

Even when I gotta take a break from it, I just can't!

Using that dead oak is one smart move, and good for you being willing to take those located further in. I hope you have something besides a wheelbarrow to pull that heavy stuff out.
