    Hey everyone,

So I’ve been around here only a few months, joining in late November.

Since then I’ve added two new saws …

An Echo 355T (didn’t own a top handle saw and thought I’d try one that is rated really well)

Today, I came home with the beast. I needed something to fill my void above 50cc. After a LOT of research I got a Husqvarna 572XP! I can’t wait to use it.

How am I doing so far? You all are costing me money! Edit: pic added! Rookie mistake.

What happens when three don't start (I'm thinking you had one before you bought your last two) you need another two saws before CAD sets in.

You are correct. The 2 Stihl 018c’s were down. My 346XP never fails!

Sounds like some real nice saws there. The 572 should really be great.

I went from 4 to 10 in the first year, so imo you are saving $ and should start shopping for the next one to spend the savings on. :saw:
    Congrats on the new saw!

Thats the way i see it.
HHO was costing me $1600+ per year.
In 2013 oil was $3.59. I would have spent $2600.
So I've saved 14k easily in 8 years. Probably more.
In 2013 i spent $2500 on my used stove, flue liner, and 2 years worth of wood.
So i figure i broke even the first year and heated for free the next year.:handshake:

Seem like it hasn't been that long ago I had a borrowed 40 some cc Craftsman chainsaw and a cheap mail and I managed to cut my firewood just fine. Then I was able to move up to pro saw. Few years went buy and I joined here. Now I have several pro saws , two of them ported. Next step is to attend a GTG and run a ported saw you will be hooked. It would probably be less expensive for me to buy propane but I love cutting wood. I try to justify my spending by reminding myself what a new bassboat would cost .The most valuable thing I have gained from this site are the lifelong friendships that have been established with some of the best folks from allover the world . Had my 572XPG (ported) for a couple of years now , I really like it. Try to make it to a GTG would like to shake hands with ya
