In an area where one can but split firewood for $55 per face cord all over the place, one has to wonder how they think this would sell. Also looks like it was quite freshly cut and split. Should burn nicely... Notice they don't say what length it is cut nor what type it is. They probably have no idea other than it is wood.

People buy tiny gas station bundles around here for $7.00. $55 for 1/2 a face cord is a good deal compared to that

A lot of bundles get sold at grocery stores. I’m guessing it’s the convenience of tossing into the cart that is appealing and they don’t have a greasy summer teeth convict showing up at their house.

Is the other “1/2 face cord” behind that brown border to the left?

I am surprised nobody commented on how loosely it is stacked. A short half face cord...

It does not list the use for "ready to burn" It would probably be real nice on an outside bonfire.

Looks like fresh cut ash to me. A lot of sellers push the myth that ash doesn’t need seasoning but I still haven’t figured out how to burn water. And yeah, the count looks kind of weak for $55 but I doubt I could ever be happy buying firewood.
