I believe one of the forum members owns a saw shop in southern Missouri east of Springfield. I have 5 Stihl saws that need varied amounts of work. I'm done paying the local shops where I know more about the saws the service than the people behind the counter. Who has the shop and what is it called?
I can’t think of anyone nearby that has a saw shop. I’d love to be wrong. A lot of people ship out to huskihl JB Sawman both have saw shops and I think MasterMech has one also. I have a 066 needing repair I have already arraigned to ship out to unfortunately work has kept me so busy I haven’t been able to get it packaged and shipped.
Dolmar decided to cease production and Carl sold his inventory and went to working on those windmills.
I'm closest to Rolla, MO. For some reason I'm thinking the shop I remember is close to Eminence. Maybe I just saw the shop from the highway and mentally mixed it up with this forum. I don't need any porting or serious work done. I just wanted to support a forum member. All my Stihl saws need new rubber oil lines and my 044 needs new crank seals and new rubber bits on the cylinder.
No idea what’s out that way. Best shop that Far East is boatner’s, and they’re way south of you. Down in Winona.
I can only speak for Kenny at the dealer in Winona. He’s a rare talent. He has a student of Bob Franks working for him that he’s showing the rope’s.. All I can vouch for is his ability to fix anything and sharpen and set teeth on saw blades. No idea what the shop rate is per hour. As I just take care of my own chit. But Kenny is a good friend.
