    We are now in the area that could get 12-20" of snow by Friday morning. We passed 8 before dark and it's not letting up.

    Evening All. An eventful day. I went to work and on my break, I phoned the hearing specialist that campinspecter was referred to for an appointment. What about this afternoon? she says. Because of the weather forecast for major snow dump this afternoon, she had cancellations. Otherwise it will be March. I bailed work and three hour drive later, we were at the specialist. Bare road with patches of compacted snow. Signs of major tree damage along the way. After the appointment, we went for a meal. Started snowing as we headed back. Light fine snow for most of the way with the heaviest just before getting home. Took four hours. Right now we have a wind and snow storm happening so I guess we will get quite a bit tonight. We will see what tomorrow brings.

    Well, I did for a year and half. Once I had all my vax shots, I put in for temp hours thinking I would work a couple of days a month. The lady who replaced me has been on a medical leave and they were "desperate for an experienced replacement". So for the last month and half, I have been working three days a week job sharing with another person. It looks like it could last another month anyway. I am enjoying the job and they have been very flexible by working around my scheduled and non scheduled appointments. No students in school this week so bailing out of work wasn't that hard.

    Weather forecasting has definitely taken a turn for the worst. Ever since they took the attitude of big media they are mostly a joke and can't seem to get much right.

    Good morning everyone! Michigan is getting dumped on from the sound of it. Our turn tomorrow, only 3-5" though.
    Still, I'll bring more wood in and run some errands today, since Friday will be a cleanup day.
    Jill, light duty for you! Chaz can handle it, whatever it is.
    Woodwidow, glad you were able to jump on that appt. and not get tangled up with snow.
