    I might clear the driveway but only because no thawing is predicted. I talked to a friend in Flint and they also got 4". It is amazing I am located between you and he but only got less than half.

    Morning All. Got above freezing yesterday and so everything is melting. Rain last night and everything dripping today. I think mild weather for today with temps dropping near freezing overnight. Any way you look at it, it is going to be messy.
    campinspecter is putting firewood down in the basement today and I have bookkeeping, taking down of the Christmas tree and chores to do.

    So at church today, we are kicking off our annual corporate fast.
    That includes a fast from whatever foods, or food altogether as led; social media and phone use.
    I have felt ok with the prayers for brothers and sisters in need thread, and maybe this one (if I can keep up). For three weeks I'm Checking email less frequently, and texting a lot less, not watching videos that are "entertaining" or that are not profitable for the Kingdom.
    Not totally settled on food changes, but keeping it simple is key.
    There will be some gathering with "the body", and regular prayer through the day (but not the offices of prayer).
    This will be good!
    There will be some really cool spiritual benefits!

    Good morning, folks

    Finally winter temps, today. 27⁰F. Still overcast.

    We're taking a day trip to Cape Cod today. Heading to the town of Mashpee to pick up a stationary recumbent bike, from FB MP. Hopefully, it'll be used on bad weather days.

    There's an ocean storm that'll be throwing snow on the Cape. It'll be nice to see as we have lunch near the water. Not quite a hallmark movie. My BIL will be tagging along for the adventure, and for an extra set of hands.

    Good morning. We had a nice time up at the cabin. It is 7f here this morning, but woke up to -22f yesterday morning.

    We came back a little early to get some things done here before heading back to our jobs after vacation.
