Husqvarna 798 ➗ 3 = 266 the front 2 are mine, the one in back belongs to the company I work for and started me on the road of being a Husqvarna fan. Both of mine have FHC lineage. buZZsaw BRAD picked up the clean one up front. Middle one came from J. Dirt I’ve not had it in wood yet.
I didnt recognize "mine" with the other bar on it! Kinda wish i cut some wood with it just to check it out.
Been trying to think of a Smart Alec comment but I got nothin You would have been impressed though, especially since you are used to running stihls
028 Super My first Stihl from 1985 (not the saw pictured) The Legendary Stihl 028 Chainsaw - HL Supply Blog I kinda chuckle as the saw pictured in the link is an 025/MS250!
Looking at those saws i recognized the one my dad owned and cut with until the early 1980's. Fond memories when i was a kid. The upper right one.
1010A or PM700? Either one was a popular, reliable saw that they made 1000s of. The 700 was definitely the stouter of the 2. 70 ccs vs 54 for the 1010A. 1010 Super was what I grew up on. 57 ccs, and lots of torque. Lower right in the pic. That was my grandfathers saw.
Thank you. I put the velocity stack and filter on and added the 3/4" id muffler outlet. Just tacked in place. Then dropped it off at Huskihls GTG. I haven't had much of a chance to run it since it came back from Kevin but I'll get a vid eventually. Its almost twice as fast as stock I'd say based on the short amount of time I have on it. Here is the vid of it after porting that Kevin took in seasoned elm then sugar maple, I believe, for the larger log. I'm currently getting ready to convert it to .325 x .050. A member here that I know from somewhere else sent me a new .325 spur drum that is a direct fit. It is going to allow me to run a vintage Remington roller nose bar. It's more of a toy even though it can be used for normal cutting duty. It hasn't been hot rodded to much really. A woods port. It may be revisited at a later time for further enhancement.
Looks like that beast is ready to cut sum cords up i run mine with 12 in bar and 043 chain and it rips small diameter seasoned hardwoods up nicely id love to get mine enhanced like that…very impressive
Enhanced saws are definitely fun. I run a 12" 3/8 lp 043 narrow kerf set up on my ported 2511P. That's a lil monster also ported by Kevin. I'll bring both to Denny's GTG in April if you want to play with them. Below is the 2511P.
