Morning All. Temps below freezing this morning with no snow. Suits me as I have to make a trip to the church today. Yesterday got above freezing and then we got a snow storm that didn't stick. I think we are snow free until tonight. Warmer temps predicted for Sunday which will create a real mess.

Good afternoon everybody. Mid 40s a2nd partly cloudy. Chaz brought in a cart load of wood into. Brought down a cart load for the porch.
Have a pork loin roast thawing for tomorrow. New years tradition. Pork and sauerkraut.
Hawkeyes in cotton bowl tomorrow.

Happy New Year everyone! I intend to do something, anything involving making firewood today. Despite the chance of rain. I want to start the year off on the right foot.
Yesterday we went down to my brother's, and went to some food stores on the way back. I hadn't been to some of them for so long, the store layouts had changed. When my mom was alive and I had to go to MA a lot, I was in and out of those places all the time.
I wish all of you some shiny new beginnings for 2022! Let's make it good!

It's about summer down here, 69° again this morning, started sweating yesterday moving logs and knocking bark off some hickory logs.
Guess we will go split some wood.
Look for the positive in 2022.

Happy New Year to all. It is going to be a cold weekend but a warm fire will feel nice. Having friends over for dinner at noon today. Wife is fixing ham along with potato casserole and scalloped pineapple.
We had oyster stew for supper last night

Good morning everyone! Another day of perpetual November weather. I can't believe that Chvymn99 has colder temps than us!
Grandson coming today, and tomorrow he goes back to school. I expect that he'll be exposed to Omicron there. He's vaxxed, but I still worry. And I'm not too hot about the idea of picking it up from him. We'll play it by ear.
Looking forward to a week of swimming, it's what keeps me on an even keel. I hope the gym doesn't get even more crowded with New Year's resolution people.

Morning Denny and everyone else. Looks like we have around 4" of snow from the "storm" last night and it's 18° currently. I'll be firing up the Echo hand held blower to clear off what gets on our covered deck and it's steps after my coffee is finished. Then I'll clear off the garage concrete approach. The driveway I'll let become a base. Everyone have a good day.
