Today my brother was at the farm working on his car. Sent a message that the place he parks his camper (at my place), had a large tree down. I told him both my saws are down, waiting on parts. Later, he reports wood is by the splitter. I checked, after loading the boiler for overnight. Sure enough there is a nice supply of maple rounds ready for attention. Not the “big tree” I pictured- a few nine inchers tapering down to some modest pieces. but hey, when you are that good, why criticize?
Here we are. Not a lot but I can get a few days of free heat from this. Richelle is taking a break from homework to help me tomorrow.
