Yes, crop all pictures. Unless you want to let us see your slippers. Some of us here get a pretty good laugh over footwear. Welcome to FHC I think you'll like it here.
I can get along with most people. I'm happy to be here. Already looking forward to the next GTG. Something in April.
Darn! The wind picked up our gazebo (it's not even a year old) and dropped it upside down on the poured patio my husband is making a new room addition out of (floor joists and foam are down). Fortunate it did not hit our double sliding glass doors, it came to rest only 8" away
Written by a friend of ours... The Gift of Jesus Baby is wrapped Face all aglow Came without ribbons Born without snow There were no bells But the angels did sing There were no bows On the gifts for the King There were no lights But the stars shining bright There was nothing but joy On this most Holy Night. There was no room That night at the Inn That did not stop Our Saviors life to begin There was no crib But a manger with hay There was no turkey On that first Christmas day There were no presents But He was the Gift There were no Carols But our hearts He'd uplift. Jesus is born On this most Holy Day Born without riches Asleep on the hay There were no doctors But He had the best care There were no nurses But the Angels were there He came without ribbons Without bows and without fuss He came into this world The gift God gave to us. written by DeeDee Cooper
Kiddo and dog are waking up and came out, I want to see the looks on their faces when they notice the gazebo at the back door lol
Sorry about gazebo wildwest since a wind gust here flipped a 3/4 full above ground pool 24’ circle 50” deep Hurricane straps are mandatory
Yep, it should have been anchored... We took out the cement bolt things to move it to grass for the room addition. It's all hold now til the weather gets a bit better late this spring.
The only ice I want any contact with is the ice in water glass. I always try to avoid any contact with ice where I walk. Was that a wooden structure or fabric on metal? Sorry for the destruction. I think I mentioned to you that with the wind you have, I don't know how your home keeps it's roof on. Some of my home is on bedrock so I doubt it would be lifted off without breaking up first. I have seen some mighty oaks and other trees uprooted because their roots can't go deep down. If they can get their roots into some cracks etc. then there is no overturning them. They will break first.
Had a couple way too loud snowmos on the ice today. They decided to run back and forth. Those days are long over with for this household......
