    Good morning, folks.

Bright full moon shining this morning. Cold and clear at 18⁰.

I hope to be out in the cold when the sun rises to split some ash chunks I have.

Mrs MikeInMa and I, will be heading to Cape Cod later this morning. We'll be visiting her parents who are both interned at the National Cemetery in Bourne. She and her sister, alternate years to buy a wreath that's placed at gravesites, through Wreaths Across America.

We'll grab lunch someplace, while down there. There's plenty of places to choose from.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning everyone! We're in the home stretch now for Christmas. I kind of like the more subdued tone of the holiday season this year, without the clamoring ads and the focus on shopping.
My grandson and I didn't split any wood, but we did shovel off the deck, which he thought was great fun. He liked poking ice off the metal roof with his shovel.
I just ordered a 40 pack of KN95 masks that I was sure weren't counterfeits. Time to start being careful again. VqeqROQ.jpeg
    Have a good Monday!

Man I feel for you. I've been in that spot (at least the work situation) and it is not fun. You don't need it anytime but especially now as new jobs usually have to wait until a bit after New Years. Good luck to you.

Still there. But the environment has become less than healthy. Untenable as they say. He is in control, things might really change there, or I will.

Good luck on that. Seems that thing has been giving too many problems.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. Last day off. We're going up the hill to a neighbor's, he had aa tree service trim up some big pecan trees and take down some other trees. We are going to clean it up and get the wood. Close enough to drive the tractor. It will be cool today, 42° and breezy, high of 52°. Got a small fire going. Glad it's not 18° like Mike has...:shiver::shiver:...
We made it back from Alabama about 7 EST. We stopped on the edge of ALA for a early dinner. Drove about 590 miles yesterday, Her car was averaging 48-49 MPG. We stopped on the way, filled up for $3.09. A new store opened a couple exits down from where we got off the interstate. On the way back, we found out they had a gas war going on. We filled up there on the way back...widh I had some barrels with us...lol 18758.jpeg
Be encouraging, share a smile, lend a hand.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME

Good morning! 26F and mostly sunny. Busy weekend, made fruit baskets and wrapped gifts at church Saturday morning followed by face cord firewood delivery. Did a bit of Christmas shopping and then visited with our Pastor and his family. After church yesterday I split the last rounds I have that aren't smoker wood or cottonwood. I need to find some more trees. May pick up a few more IBC totes tonight. Have a God day!

Just one of those things with older equipment. It’s 36 years old. I know what I want it to do, I just want to go through it and get it PM’d before running it too hard…

Good afternoon all. Got up to a chilly 15*. Burr. Sunny out and should get to a whopping 34*
Called today to setup pre-registration for surgery. Told me it was on hold and to call my doctor. They hadn't been told. They called the hospital and it is till the end of December but they will be reevaluating on Wed and they'll give me a call and let me know then.
    Have a safe trip Mike.
Gas wars are good and fun. I managed a gas station for awhile. We had a few of those. Came to work one morning and we had been broken into and robbed.
    Have a good day all.

We had a lovely day today. Cold, but sunny and no breeze.

Lots of wreaths. Good to see.

And, my inlaws. I bought a couple of sticks to prop theirs up.

We had lunch along the Cape Cod Canal, at a place called Fisherman's View. Looking at the east end of the canal, into Cape Cod bay.

    IMG_20211220_124428.jpg

I had clam chowder, and Carol had butternut bisque.
    IMG_20211220_124357.jpg

The I had fish-n-chips and she had a fish sandwich. IMG_20211220_125620.jpg

Back home to a warm home, and more than enough coals for an easy stove heat up.

Evening All. Just got home from our trip to our daughter's Christmas concert. Good roads and sunshine the whole time we were away. Concert last night was held outside at freezing temps. Everyone wrapped up warm and enjoyed the concert under a full moon shining down on us.

One of the brightest nights I've seen. It is amazing especially when there is snow on the ground.

    Good morning, folks.

28⁰, clear and dry. Bright moon lighting up the area.

I'll be cutting up a blowdown red oak at my SIL's, this morning. I'm hoping to cut into 4ft lengths with a tractor and chains doing the heavy lifting.

    Be safe
    Be healthy
