    A few of you know that I enjoy riding mountain bikes, well a few months ago I decided that I really had to loose some weight so I started riding more often and building my fitness, I am currently riding at least every second day and some of the rides have been quite long so it is eating in to my time.

    The trestles were constructed 130 years ago. The big one is rather interesting to ride across at speed!

    Thanks Brad, I have lost 24lbs and feeling a lot better for it. If I can drop another 20 I will be very happy.

    Good to hear from you Chris, that's a fantastic hobby! Not many here know this but I used to race mountain bikes back in the 90s when I was young and single, my youngest son is now into mountain biking so I'm gonna dust my old Cannondale off this spring and try my best to get back at it a little with him. Trees keep me really busy in my spare time tho....

    Wait! That bike has a motor on it!! I am jealous!

    But really! Congrats and great job. In my opinion there is not a more fun way to build fitness than Mountain biking.

    I mountain biked A LOT up to a couple of years ago, then life got in the way. But at 47 I am realizing that if I do not get my butt doing some form of cardio I am just going to continue to get fat. I guess that is just the way life goes. So I plan on getting on the bike a lot more in the new year.

    bikes and motors… they both do.


    And before anyone wants to call Chris a cheater studies have shown that the benefits of exercising are roughly equal between electric and nonelectric bikes. The main thing they found was folks were way more likely to bike longer with the electric bikes.

    Yeah that's quite the bicycle. When you could buy a motorcycle wettest kind of $, but you buy a bicycle instead, that's commitment.
