Hoping a good clean out will do. All the diaphragms feel good to go. CC79A7C9-3580-4A20-9211-29EAD7064AA2.jpeg
Probably throw a fuel line and filter at it too.

Went out the other day to start cutting on a dead birch that had come down and promptly broke the starter rope on my 192T. Hope that is not too difficult to get it repaired. Anything to watch out for when repairing a broken starter rope?

Got my 192t starter rope replaced today. Watching a YouTube video helped a lot. I ended up using a boot shoe lace. It works. I should get some starter rope some time so I can have some for the next time it breaks.

The true blue 4.5 line is the toughest pull rope I've ever used
I haven't broke one even on high compression ported saws.

Kind of a PITA to sign up, but seems cozy and familiar once I got here.
Current project on the bench is a 262XP that belongs to my sons friend.
New crank bearings, seals, piston kit.

    My current situation....

Super EZ needs a carb kit. Cantankerous to start. In fact it wouldn't at Custer's GTG last Saturday.

    IMG_20211223_080840634~2.jpg

The Stihl....I did some things to try and improve this duds performance. All it did was make it very hard to pull over. First thing I'm putting back to stock is the timing. Hopefully that cures the kicking back and the ripping of the pull handle out ma fangers.

    IMG_20211223_080831683~2.jpg

I have several Remington Mighty Mite saws. I'm practicing safe disassembling and reassembly of a couple because I have a really strong running specimen I want to fully restore and have a fella in PA powder coat the cases and other metal bits. I also put a timing wheel on and checked the port timing out of curiosity. For the restoration I have all NOS cylinder, piston, rings, bearings, seals and gaskets. Plan is to use the good used parts from the strong saw to revitalize another weaker saw.

Lastly, a couple oil testing trimmers waiting on carb kits or other bits before I ruin them lol.

Had pulled the snowblower out a month ago for the winter but didn’t do anything to it. Warm today and very cold forecasted next week and after so decided to get it prepped. Sheer pin broken but still functional. Replaced it.
Put air in the tires, adjusted the clutch, greased the fittings, checked the oil and put some left over fuel system cleaner in the tank.
