Well, you have to give the guy a thumbs up for trying at least but that was some poor saw work. I only watched the first tree and I'm still wondering why he thought he needed to wedge that thing. It looks like a simple felling job; wedge and cut. But then again, it is rare for me to use wedges as most times I really see no need for them.

I felt bad the entire time watching...it must be hard as hell working with one arm doing tree work. damm, I have a hard time with 2 arms sometimes.

That is determination. He looks in good shape aside from the paralyzed rt. arm. Creative device attached to the saw.

I hope he is wearing a cup the way he holds that saw. :bug:
I give him a lot of credit. Some people get a hang nail and go on disability, not this guy.

Watch it closely. He uses his crotch and his elbow with that add on assistive device to replace a lot of the stability he would have had with a rt. arm.

I gave him a lot of credit, a handicap isn't going to stop him.

Yes, he deserves lots of credit just for his effort.

I tell my helpers that last line all the time. They still can't seem to realize it only takes one person to put a shovel in a truck bed. :picard:

I know a guy with one arm he rides motorcycles hunts, shoot rifles.
He lost his arm when a antenna he was taking down, hit a power line and blew out his arm

While it might seem dangerous, I'm glad to see a person not using his disability as a crutch. Kudos to him!

He might be slower but it looks to me like he's taking the time to get it down where he wants it.

Yes i think that one tree, while it wasn't all that big, had a pretty good back lean.

Now his back cut is a little high for my liking, but other than that I think he did an OK job, especially considering he did it with one arm....

While I admire his determination, there are certainly less potentially deadly activities.

Kinda negates the benefit of a chain brake

Doesn't seem like he'd have much control if the saw decided to kick back. I suppose you get used to being very careful. Kudos for not letting anyone tell him what he can't do.

This made me uncomfortable to watch. Poor guy...he has heart, but that's way too dangerous. I've had a saw kick hard on me and that's too dangerous one handed.
