It's been a busy fall and only cutting a little bit here and there. The little MS170 and the mule got to play a little this morning cutting some locust, walnut and some sassafras along some trails. Maybe 1/2 cord.
Slow and steady wins the race.

Wife bought it for me a few years ago.
Other than a little finicky about starting it's been a good saw for trail cleaning and yard work

I bought a log load this year and felt guilty. I justified it by wanting to get fast track to my 3 year plan.
But there is a certain enjoyment for me to see an ad for free wood, finding it on the side of a road, or dragging a blow down or a dead one out of my land.

I think it’s a requisite to be a part of the FHC anyway.
You MUST scrounge free wood periodically in order to remain a member in good standing.

6 mornings of half a cord and I'd be set for the year.
I'd have to get up fairly early.

That is about what I burn every year, so I would be too.
