    Trying to get back on track it’s been a while so playing catch up running low on dry wood but got some today looks like some pine am i right

    Hard to say for certain, I don't see knots everywhere.....it's a softer wood, for certain, but hey, it's BTUS...

    Does it smell coniferous? If it's pine/spruce, you'll smell it...

    I can almost feel how light that is! Dry wood is dry wood. Id take a truck load of that!

    No smell no bark and no knots light like a feather the guy said it’s been sitting for 2 years

    Nice haul there. Hard to tell what it is, but if its been sitting for two years should be ready to burn.

    Not sure on species, but this piece looks roached which could explain the light feel. But hey- burn it all!

    Looks like aspen to me.
    Dead for a while getting soft aspen, or some other kind of poplar.

    Pine should have lots of knots that go all the way to the pith.
    I'd guess poplar or aspen
