A couple hundred black birds just decided to say hello Tough taking a picture through windows. They were in trees all around the house. Scattered easily as I walked around the house.
Mike, we get them in early November every year and they come in groups of hundreds. It sure drives the trail cameras crazy. lol And the noise is terrific. I remember one time years ago when Judy and I were coming home and driving north on US 27. We saw this long line of birds. It was quite wide but also was around 2 miles long! I had never seen this before. I have no idea how many thousand birds were there but it might have been interesting to know.
Hopefully they're eating weed seeds and bugs you don't want and not ripping up the lawn too badly searching for free eats.
I was telling a previous neighbor how well my CROW call worked one time, don't think he believed me, until about 30 crows started calling and circling our neighborhood, lol. Its amazing if you have the right call/voice on the caller how fast and how many will come to it. Oh, he was a ''believer'' about 10 min later, I put it in the window of this bedroom and turned the volume up, and here they come!
