Dumping it was a little sketchy, opened up the rear and it all jammed up, had to pry very carefully from the bottom and half went
Most of it got noodled into quarters just to be able to split it
Stacked out to about 3 1/2 cords

20211211_094820.jpg First load of hickory from up the road. At least 3 more. Surprised how heavy this stuff is. Love that the 350s sit level with a load instead of nose up like the 250s.

Must just be the shortbeds that reach for the sky. LOL My 250 handles a load no problem. Nice looking truck you have.

I just assumed it was cause the 350s had 4" blocks in the rear from the factory and the 250s came with 2" blocks. Theres a couple different spring options you could get in these trucks also. I'd think that could have something to do with it.
I need to make some side boards and a headache rack.

Mine originally was owned by a LARGE farm center in our area as a service / delivery / snowplow truck. It saw pretty heavy / rough duty there and I'm sure they had equipped it with all the heavy duty options. I'm the third owner and even though the bed was beat up some, overall it was decent shape and only had 78K miles on it when I got it. It's a keeper. The running boards are homemade as well as the headache rack and side boards. That picture had just at a cord of seasoned HL, Crabapple, Hawthorne, and Cherry on it. It handles a load very well but I do miss having the extended cab. It was too good of a deal to pass on though. It came with the snowplow also.

    What year is your's?

Nice truck load however at the moment I'm just jealous of your green grass and clear pavement. I love winter and all the inclement weather that comes with it, however due to the weird warm weather and rain yesterday that melted the snow cover, it is currently a PITA to process firewood on sheer ice.

Currently 46. It is strange to see that green grass mid December. I kinda like it colder so I don’t sweat.
Holy hum. Check out when I update the honey hole thread. LOTS more, big trees to be had.
