uh oh, i did that one time with a good sized rock i brought home, yup a tundra just like yours, even the same color, i ended up putting a slight bow in my tailgate, not on the outside, but, on the inside. BUT, at 2 ft long its probably spread out enough not to bow it. That IS a NICE chunk of wood, i like getting those big butt cuts, they are the PRIMO wood in my opinion. Will you ship???? USPS lol
Didn't hurt the truck but if I keep it up I won't have much of a back to speak of. Sure, I'll ship. What method do you prefer?
I pick up and carry very similar sized pieces to that one (with one in each arm like carrying suitcases) to the ATV trailer with these: Lockhart's Firewood Gripper (18 I cut mine 20-22" long. Seems like anything more than 15" diameter or so I will half/quarter, depending on how big the diameter is. Based on that, I say 75lbs. I was just out doing that yesterday in fact.
I see that.....and we both did perimeter instead of area! LOL I deleted it, but you caught me! Something just didn't seem right, I then went back and QC'd my post and .
I think that is a plan I am going to try. Stove takes 24" but 20-22" will allow room for crooked cuts.
3.14*r^2. = Area Area * length = volumn 3.14*6.5^2/144 (convert inches to feet) * 2 (length) = 1.84ft^3 Mike in Okla
