Just saw your thread on the family ash extravaganza, but since this question is more about the trailer, well the gorrilabac actually... Have you pulled any logs to the trailer with the gorrilabac? I know you have the bigger winch and probably use that. But I'm wondering if the gorrilabac is strong enough (not just the winch but the "tower" part too) to pull sections of logs to the truck/trailer. I know it depends on size and weight...but I'm just thinking of a few places where I can't get close to the tree and might could pull sections to the truck.... Man you got me really pondering a gorrilabac....

Times whatever, very nice trailer and you should be proud of the work. Going to be a game changer for sure.

Oh yeah for sure. There is a snatch block on the winch line that you can attach to a chain that is welded on at the bottom of the unit. You line runs down the. Pit to log to pull to you instead of fro a high up angle. I will get some pictures, I probably am not explaining that well

Oh, ok...that should take pressure off the tower. How did you attach it to your trailer? Did you make it permanent or easily removable....use the truck mount system?

I built a copy of the GB a years ago. It works great for lifting rounds onto the splitter but pulling wood to it is SLOOOOOW. The other thing about pulling wood to it is it needs to be lighter than the splitter unless you have it hooked up to a tow vehicle, or it will pull the splitter to the wood.
