snowblower

Serviced a new to me snowblower, to include a new carburetor, fuel line with shutoff, oil change,never seize on drive axles,replaced the bolts in the augers with the correct shear pins,greased and oiled as necessary. With global warming and the unpredictable weather one does not know what to expect this year in snowfall amounts.

 

You are prepared at least now. Which means you'll probably not need it. Now, if you didn't do the work to it though, you'd get dumped on with snow this winter.

I don't think anybody is really ready for that amount of snow.

 

Last year I went through all 3 blowers fixed whatever they needed and thought to myself I am all set. first storm all 3 went south. went out and blew a wad on a brand new one, which was a first for me as I have never in 50 years ever bought a brand new yard unit of any type. I must be getting old and senile. oh and i have not anything yet this season- figure why bother just going muck up anyway deal with it then.

Happens a lot here on glass storm doors; makes them hard to open!

probably why all oldtimers ( read smart) had porch or Leeward entry doors

 

Hopfully you have chased the snow away for the winter JB

 

I would just close the door and have a JD on the rocks by the fire JB

Got the snowblower ready for the next storm that's coming this weekend. So far the weatherman has not made an attempt as to how much we will be getting.
