Our haul today.

“Many hands make the load lite”
Got the family outside with me today to get these two Ash trees cleaned up and hauled home. Blessed to have some hard working kids and a hard working wife. Got one more load to get tomorrow and a smaller oak to fell then gonna get to splitting !

 

Some great firewood and it's always awesome to have lots of help!

My Grandfather always advised me not to be afraid of a 'little hard work'. Which I was for a long time. But I learned to love the same, and our kiddo seems to have caught the bug. His first date with the new girl (at college) was to the splitting yard he and I split at this fall, at school. We got pics of her swinging the maul!!
