As much as it bothers you, DON'T! I work with a guy that didn't follow orders and ended up fubaring things and going through a bunch of medical try and save it because he didn't listen, to only end up 100% loss of sight in that eye.

No heavy lifting. Your eyeball could pop out. That would indeed be a bad day.

That would bug me too, but you'll be back to processing in no time. Play it smart!

If we have to we'll assemble an FHC intervention team, lock you in your house and hide your rounds where can't find them. If you are good and obey Dr's directions you can get them back after your eye is healed. Don't test us Dave.

Just enjoy looking at that wood. You know that good wood and won't go bad while you are healing.

I had to have my eye fixed and it was scary because I have only one good eye. If I lose that I'm up the river in a boat with no oars.

Fortunately, I guess, this is my "bad" eye. The detachment is most likely from an injury were I nearly lost that eye in 2006. I was using a grinder without any eye/face protection. Now I use both safety glasses and a face shield with power tools. Word of advice everyone
    USE YOUR PPE.

Tears are bad enough but detachments are downright nasty. Do what your supposed to it’s inconvenient for a short time but it beats a life long loss of eyesight. Perspective man it’s all perspective. Gotta look long term.

Remember it's not going anywhere. Even if it did, there's more. Eye sight is a little tougher to get back.
