Weekend starts now. Just finished up work...and decided I'm going to work here a while longer. I think there's some upside for me and, if not, I could have another job in about 20 minutes in this market. Rain is setting in....supposed to get bad storms overnight. Ball games tonight and tomorrow AM. Hopefully venture out to the shop and make some stuff tomorrow afternoon.
Yup, it went up even higher before the cost of living adjustment went into affect for social security....
I have one more year before I get SS and should get enough to keep 1/2 my house running... I do look forward to it though...

Well, Fred (the red fox) finally showed up after over a week absence. But, 99 lbs (never a hunter) hasn't quite learned the art of stealth in dealing with wildlife, opened the blinds wider that they needed to be and then loudly exclaimed "there he is...right at the edge". I think it did manage to get a mouthfull before she scared it off though. I hope it's not another week before he returns. Next time I spot him, I'm going to keep it to myself......
I have a video of a pair of fox taken last month. I had a couple pictures of one but this is the first time I saw 2 together. Nice.

Tornado sirens went off last night as I was going to bed. Didn't get a lot of sleep. Still super windy. Moved 4 loads of wood up to the boiler this AM. Replacing my zone valve controller right now...it has a sticky relay....but still under warranty.
