This is Drako, our new Siberian husky "grandson"... I think our son and daughter-in-law found a good one. They lost their first 2 husky's over the last 2 years and had been looking. This guy was from Vermont.

What a beauty. Huskies can be tough to keep as they are so independent, free spirited and stubborn. They can be disdainful of those they don't like, but usually approach new people as if they could be on their "like" list and kids are a favorite. They are great friends when you have earned their loyalty and trust.

It is tough to lose one pet, much less a couple in a short amount of time. I'm sure Drako will help fill the void in their hearts.

They get plenty of human food. Both are very proficient beggars.

Kaiser looks like a mastiff? What type? Any of them will get to the size of a small horse. Hounds with floppy jowls like Tucker always look to me like they are sad, or soulful.

They are both nice looking pups.

A few days ago when we woke up to snow on the ground, Shadow decided that best place to be is in bed.

This morning it is below freezing so of course, bed is where you hide.

Yep. He is an English Mastiff. His dad was 220 so we do expect him to be big. And you are so right , Tucker is like an old soul trapped in a dogs body. He seems to read a situation like no other dog I have owned.
