I don't know what keeps your roof on your house with those high winds. That is hurricane wind! Here, that topples trees We are on the side of a hill and that does shelter us a lot in high winds except when they are from the south. If your husband is handy, or has some friends he can barter with, you can do a self install and have a bundle. If you don't have to concern yourself with rebates, you can get the unit you want with as many zones you want. Our rebate program is very restrictive so I was limited. I ended up with little out of pocket cost. I just might put a second unit in if I find this one doesn't handle my needs, but so far, that isn't the case.

I had a discussion with Backwoods Savage years ago about trusses here, too many move up here and skimp on them and they lose their roofs. We have 3 gone on my road just since I moved here.... Thanks! Could you give some different key words to google with? I found it in 2014 when we bought the pellet stove (no rebates then) but have no clue where that was? All I see so far is low income assistance.
Those who install these unit will be on top of that program if it is available in her area. All the ones around here are tuned into the rebate programs because it is so big and gives them a tremendous amount of business.
