Morning all. Woke up to about 10 inches of snow and a howling wind. Schools are closed but I hope we can still keep our appts this morning. Lots to do around the house today as long as the power stays on. We had a power off/on sometime last night. It couldn't have been very long but my main computer is taking too long to power up. Grrr. We were only expecting about 2 inches of snow so this is a surprise.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon! Currently 32F and dropping. Very breezy. Power went out at the office so I'm in another building across town where I do interviews. Got an order for a face cord to deliver tomorrow (36 minutes away). That's the last of my wood except for bundles already made up and some cherry and maple for smoking. It will probably be March before I have more seasoned and ready. Just more motivation to keep :saw::axe::stacker:. Have a God day!

Afternoon all. 43*, been raining since 7am. Really dark and dreary. Going to be needing to bring some wood down to the front porch but the yard is so wet and muddy that it is going to be a mess.
That is a beautiful sunrise Molly.
Hope your eye heals quickly Chvymn99.

Glad it wasn't worse news. No fun at all having something wrong with a eye.

    Good morning, everyone.

    Mid-50's and clear to start.

2-3 inches of snow forecasted for tomorrow. So, I'll be doing a bit of winter/snow prep today.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Still shoulder season here in North Central MA on the NH border. No snow, 30'F. The temps just keep going up and down.

I gotta get out of my jammies and go to my last appointment with the eye doctor after my 2nd cataract surgery. Today is the day they "spin the dials" to see if I will need glasses anymore. Just another part of getting old in this crazy new world we live in.

65 yrs old here. Had cataracts removed from both eyes ~ 15 years ago. Even though I still wear glasses, my vision has improved.

I just finished eye laser surgery to remove some protein buildup, between the eyes and replacement lenses. I'm told it's to be expected. The same eye surgeon did the cataracts and laser surgeries.

I don't go back to my regular eye doctor for several months. I'm good with the glasses I still have.

    Good luck with you follow-up!

Good morning! Colder today, 17F and cloudy now. Shuffled things around in the processing center last night under the lights of the skid steer. Loaded an IBC tote and stacked a little extra in the bed to make a face cord for delivery tonight. I ran across some free wood on MP that I'm going to look at on lunch. I need to get some more inventory. Have a God day!

Morning All. Above freezing this morning so the snow is slowly melting away. I am surprised it lasted this long as usually it gets quite warm right after a snowfall and it disappears. Appts. this morning and then going into work for the afternoon and the next two days.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Missed y'all a couple days, got busy Sunday morning...cooked breakfast and got a haircut before going to church by 10. Left after that and drove over to a lady's house, she was a wood splitter and some dry firewood, her husband had passed away in August. Had a nice pile of wood, but it was 8"-24" long. We might get it later if she still has it...be a pain to sort it. The splitter ran good, smaller one with the dual edge blade, splits both ways, she wanted $800 for it...
Yesterday, started 7AM-7PM work shift and rainy late, so nothing done outside. Working that shift this week till Thursday, then start some long days off...cool and cloudy today.
Hope your eye is better today, Kevin.
Stay warm up there with the colder temps, it will be here before long...:fire:.
Be blessed and be a blessing.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME
