    • ~~16 x 20'
    • Goal is storage/sunroom/hybrid indoor greenhouse in one corner (hoping for a different floor there and a greywater line

    • Wall heights are west 13' and east 9' (I'd prefer opposite, taller on the east, not sure he can pull that with roof runoff we'll see  ). Either way I'm also hoping for gutters for a rainbarrel (IBC totes) for summers.

How many indoor entrances to the room? And what does outdoor access/windows look like?
Do you have any prelim sketches, H? Including part or most of the current footprint of your home...

How will the new room be oriented? 20’ wall taking Eastern rising sun, 16’ facing south? Vice versa? Not aligned with the compass at all?

Wow- your picture ideas are way more fancy than I would have suggested... but I’m more into rustic/reclaimed, less polished finishes. Absolutely not a fan of finished drywall.

All I see are kitchens...

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I rotated all the pictures on my computer and they appear right side up, but when I add them here they are not.

We won't have those nice custom cabinets, gotta give the budget her attention...... But this is a step in what I'm looking at... He wants to do t&g rough cut wood for the ceiling and what little wall there is (I don't recall the species), bottom 1/2 of woodstove corner will likely be tile. Wasn't thinking about wall coverings when I wrote drywall...

A simple white wash/ pickling can do wonders (depending on species/grain), but generally, yes.

Ha! Imagine the sink pedestals without sinks, just continuous counter. Laminate Formica counters.
I get 1 or 2 4'x4' skylights, but darkening the room is the opposite I want for a SUNROOM.....

My dad and I did several sunrooms nearly the size of your project with pickled eastern red cedar tongue and groove, (2) 2’ x 4’ skylights... typically 2 sliding doors per wall x two walls... more than enough light.
