    Late to the party here but poplar and black birch for sure. Poplar goes in the stacks if one falls in my yard, but the BB is one of the very best. With 2 years seasoning, it will throw heat like locust but hold a coal much better. Take all you can get!

    Second is definitely black birch. That’s firewood gold right there.

    Red oak it is. The others look like maple...either silver or red, except the one on the far left (in the five round pic) looks like oak.
