From what I see on our local FB group, the SA 35 disappears before the time needed for someone to post where they saw one. The only concession I made was I got the F (safety) instead of the G decock only because I wanted the 18rd mags. Thinking it will be cheaper to buy the conversion kit than to buy all new 18rd mags. Beretta has that kit on sale right now for $39 so I just might have to take advantage of that.
I like the 365 and the niche it is intended for, however I've found that I more often than not go back to carrying either my SIG P320 FDE Compact of my Kimber Tactical Ultra Carry (depending on whether I want 9mm or .45). In the big picture I'm just not that thrilled with the 365 anymore.
I honestly have never shot a 365 or hellcat or Ruger's offering But have been impressed by the Taurus gx4 for it's price and performance. But for the range I prefer 4" commander length Pistols as far as comfort and Getting a better grip for accuracy. 1911s or my hipower m&p compact Or Glock 23
I ran my friends range today He wasn't feeling well I did 7 hour's Watching over everyone getting ready for deer rifle season monday. My nephew shooting his custom built 45/70 on a Mauser action He got that for a whopping 75.00 In the 90s There was 17 of us today I shot the pistol range I taught my friend how to shoot She'd never fired a gun Her mother got her a SW air weight .38 She hated it and didn't do well with it. She then tried my TX .22 g3c 9mm canik sc 9mm and SDS 1911 .45 She did well with all the semi autos But with the 1911 She started low until she got used to the trigger Then she put 6 in one ragged hole She wants a lightweight commander this week.
Shot my nephew's Taurus .357 It shot very well I shot one of these sccy 9mm pistols for the first time It was accurate with a decent double action pull.
Once she got used to the triggers on all the semi pistols she did very well. Those little revolver's imho Are not for inexperienced shooters I had other's try it and they didn't like it either. It does shoot good I shot the plate rack with it But I have many years on a sp101 .357 It's not a want She will buy some type of commander this week I know her lol I told her to look at the Ruger lw version And just pick everything up to see if she likes something else better. I should've brought a M&P they have a matching grip angle to a 1911 Without the additional safety's.
I couldn't tell you how many articles I have read or videos where these very stories listed in this one as well spoke highly of .22LR for carry. It almost makes it a no-brainer with a grain of salt. You probably know the stat of that but I'd be more convinced that with the right rounds(higher quality ammo) it will prove itself. The question for me is ...which gun(s) do I get?
Failing eyes caused me to get my first Red dot I prefer iron sights. Sig Romeo 5 I shot my friends Ruger .556 last year He had a Romeo 5 on his I really liked it And was hitting consistently at 150 yds.
This is true. I think there are some select ones like long guns. A certain shotgun today that is a semi auto has been YouTube'd to show its cycling issues that I aim to stay away from. Mainly its the company service that sucks. I love my ATI 1911. This thing isn't a piece of junk but it is a hunk of metal that serves as a weapon even if you ran outta ammo. It's "ugly" dull powder coat simple hand grips, but it's one of the guns that will keep running regardless of age or condition. I think the company makes an ok .22 version as well. But you can be surprised of some of the oddest back-of-the bus gun makers of how actual decent products they can make.
I don't, but my buddy has a Mossberg ar in 22lr. That reminds me, I need to take my 10/22 out and plink now that I have a scope on it.
A few shots getting the Romeo 5 lined up 1.5 low at 25 yds it's hitting dead on at 100 meters I'm new to red dots but after a few minutes At 100 meters I was able to hit a 8" steel gong 26 times in a row with tula 55gr I'm liking it so far Ordering another for a .22 rifle.
The claim is they will turn your 5.56 into another semi-auto... I'm merely running low on safe space but I'm not opposed to buying a .22 M&P they are slick guns for sure. I had looked at the cmmg kit, I don't think those shotgun bore conversion gauge kits are the answer unless it's turning a 20 ga into shooting a .410. The former turning some rifle or handgun cartridge into a pretty useless tumbler that maxes out at say 40-50 yards.
Did anyone do well this deer season? My great nephew's girlfriend Girlfriend got the first buck opening day. All the guy's went nuts They are very competitive It took the guy's 5 day's to catch up with her They hunted daylight to dark to get these My great nephew and his dad had no luck.
